Friends of Irving and John Anderson Park
About Our Friends Group
The Friends of Anderson Park is an all-volunteer community nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and primitive nature of Anderson Park. We work closely with the Isanti County Parks Department to assist with planning, development and maintenance of park facilities and use.
We also support the park by conducting and promoting nature activities, raising money for special programs and projects, and sponsoring work days, educational activities and special events.
Our mission is to preserve the natural beauty and primitive nature of the park and to assist Isanti County with its planning, development, and maintenance of facilities and use.
Membership is open to individuals, families and businesses interested in supporting and advocating for Anderson Park.
The Friends of Anderson Park is committed to protecting and improving wildlife habitat and making Anderson Park a premier bird-watching destination.
